Fellowships and Grants

ATHE Student Fellowship Fund
ATHE provides fellowships for current ATHE graduate student members to attend the Conference. ATHE Student members interested in applying for a Fellowship Fund Grant to be reimbursed the conference registration fee are asked to submit a letter with their registration form requesting this grant. Fellowship recipients are asked to provide six (6) hours of volunteer assistance during the Conference. Fellowships are limited. Awardees will be notified prior to the conference in order to schedule their hours. Fellowship recipients should check-in at the Conference registration desk to confirm their volunteer schedules.

Guest Passes / A-V Conference Equipment Grants
ATHE provides some funds for guest passes (non-ATHE members who are invited to present at the conference) and audio visual equipment. Session organizers should apply for these funds when submitting their session proposals prior to the November 1 deadline. For more information, see the conference page.

Focus Group Grants
The ATHE Focus Group Grant provides funds to focus groups who want to expand or continue non-conference operations. Proposals for funds which will become available on June 1, 2009 are due by March 1, 2009. View the details, including the evaluation criteria and process. (note: .pdf file, 36KB)

Pre-Conference Grants
Focus groups may also apply for funds to help them offer pre-conference activities. Funds for the 2009 conference will be available on June 1, 2007. Applications are due by November 15. View the details, including the evaluation criteria. (note: .pdf file, 75KB)
