Registration Fees
Register by the early bird deadline of May 31 to receive the following discounted registration rates:

Individual (ATHE Member)		$260.00
Organizational (1st Registrant)		$325.00
Organizational (All Other Registrants)		$225.00
Student / Retired / Unemployed		$160.00
Non-member		$360.00
Spouse/ Significant Other		$250.00

How to Register
Registering Online
When the link to register online is ready, it will be posted here. Simply click the link and follow the directions.

Registering by Mail or Fax
When the form becomes available, it will be posted here. Simply click the link, print out the form, fill it out, and fax to Complete Conference Coordinators at (630) 416-3333 or mail to the address on the form.

Registration Cancellation
The registration fee will be refunded, minus a $25 administrative cancellation fee, if notice is received by mail or fax by July 20. All cancellations must be in writing; phone cancellations are not accepted. Refunds for workshops will be offered only if the event is cancelled or is filled at the time your registration is received.

Organizational Registration Fees
Please note this change in organizational registrations.
To qualify for the Organizational Registration fees, the institution must be an ATHE organizational member. The registration fees listed are by 1st registrant, 2nd, etc. For example, if you are sending four participants, the first person will pay $325, all other registrants pay $225.

Conference Registration Hours
At the Hyatt Century Plaza, the conference registration desk will be open the following hours:

Monday, August 2		5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 3		8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 4		8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, August 5		8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Friday, August 6		7:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Student Fellowship Fund
For ATHE student members interested in applying for a Fellowship Fund Grant to reimburse you for your conference registration fee, please submit a letter requesting this grant with your registration form. Fellowship recipients are asked to provide six (6) hours of volunteer assistance during the Conference. You must be an ATHE student member to apply for a Fellowship Fund Grant. Fellowships are limited. Awardees will be notified prior to the conference in order to schedule their hours. Fellowship recipients should check-in at the Conference registration desk to confirm their volunteer schedules.

ATHE uses electronic communications as an easy way for members to communicate with each other and for leadership to communicate with members.

MEMBER LIST SERVS

ATHECAST: Anyone can join ATHECAST and anyone can post to the list. The list serv moderator reviews messages to ensure that they are theatre-related postings and posts or rejects them. To post, send a message to: athecast@lists.athe.org.

No one is automatically subscribed to ATHECAST. To subscribe, send a blank e-mail with SUBSCRIBE in the subject line to: athecast-subscribe@lists.athe.org.

ATHECAST comes with a digest option. The ATHECAST digest delivers one e-mail to a subscriber at the end of the day with all of that day's postings included. You cannot be subscribed to BOTH the digest and regular options. To subscribe to the digest option, send a blank e-mail with SUBSCRIBE in the subject line to: athecast-digest-subscribe@lists.athe.org.

ATHEMEMBERLIST: ATHEMEMBERLIST is the list serv used by the Association to send important news and information to the members. ATHE members are automatically subscribed to ATHEMEMBERLIST when they join ATHE. SPECIALIZED LIST SERVS

The Association also maintains several list servs that leadership use to conduct business. ATHEOC is a discussion list for members of the Operations Committee. ATHEGC is a discussion list for members of the Governing Council. ATHEFGRCP is a discussion list for ATHE's Focus Group Representatives and Conference Planners.

Award for Leadership in Community-Based Theatre and Civic Engagement

In order to honor a high level of commitment and longevity, this award for Leadership in Community-Based Theatre and Civic Engagement is reserved for an individual or theatre company that has worked in the field of community-based theatre and civic engagement for a minimum of ten years. The following is a list of criteria for judging the candidates:
1. Innovation of approach
2. Artistic quality
3. Contributions to the field
4. Regional impact
5. Demonstration of community need
6. Depth of civic dialogue

Emphasis may include focusing on individuals or theatres who help facilitate communities in creating theatre that reflects their constituents and/or on those who develop lasting relationships with those communities. Theatre companies that are nominated must have an operating budget of $150,000 or less. The award should not go to an artist already honored in a major way by the mainstream but to an individual or company that does important work but is less well known.

Visit this page to nominate someone for the Award for Leadership in Community-Based Theatre and Civic Engagement. Awards nominations are due by February 15.

Nominators must provide letters from supporters who also address the above criteria. The letters should come from a range of people, including critics, academics, board members, audiences, and participants. The support letters must be sent to the nominator. If a nominator receives more than ten letters of support, only the strongest ten should be sent, in their entirety, along with the nominator's letter. The nominator’s letter plus all additional support letters and material must be sent to the subcommittee chair.

The selection sub-committee of ATHE, appointed by the chair of the Awards committee, has gender, sexual, racial, and ethnic diversity.
